Easter, spring and memories

Lots going on and sending prayers in so many directions. Baked some cheoreg, first time just for the two of us in many , many years. We are busy, backed up on yard work and house projects but packing for trips. Have had lots of company and traveling which is all good for us but has a bit of bittersweet thrown in. You never know where you are going to be, you just hope the memories carry you through the quiet times. We have a few plans and guess we have to start thinking of ourselves more, a different path but there is light there. Sending out peace and healing.

Found the perfect job!

Yep. After applying and interviewing and reading listings of job postings, etc. etc. etc. I realized I had the perfect job 8 years in the making. 4 Sisters Gifts, or as I have to remember to write, www.4sistersgifts.com. Its tried and true and a good cottage industry. I created it many years ago, it has a good reputation, its creative and flexible. My new commitment is to go forth and do 3 good efforts a day and network. I will put more energy in and realize more abundance back out.

I am able to moderate it with my personal life but honestly, where else can I have the flexibility to come and go and meet people or settle down and do my work at home?

I am so excited as I reinvest in my business. As it thrives, and it will, hooray! If it should take time, that's ok, I am just working my business to the fullest extent with a grateful heart to have that opportunity. Now, to seek out new products, oh boy. Gift shows, fairs and the like, here I come.

January..nope Febuary

Wow, why is the month of January there? Lots of dark and dreary days. I so look forward to spring and even sooner, some sunshine. I love my home but long for fresh air and sun. Missing the ocean quite a bit too. Lots of things hanging; friends health, projects to complete and promises to keep. Tomorrow is a new day and as I always tell my kids, things will look better after a good nights sleep.

25 days until Christmas

My dining room is filled with gift baskets, boxes of treasures and packing materials. Not complaining but why is time always rushing towards us, no matter how prepared we are?Deep breath and go forward. Blessings are all around us, so have to appreciate all that is there. Kids arrive 3 weeks and a day. These are my blessings.

still learning.. and still thankful

I am reminded that even a crazy, rainy day at the beach with my family and friends is better than a day anywhere else.

I also know that sitting in my beach chair near the sand or in the water with my mermaids is still the best. And now I get to watch my grand merkids..

That song will always make me smile, I had it on non stop today as I mowed the lawn in the Berkshires. Missing the ocean, the family time, the craziness and joy of my kiddos and assorted friends. Hope the time of my "coolchange" will come soon, I really do love the ocean. For now I am thankful for our family, our precious time together and everyones' health.

Summertime, summertime...sum sum summertime..

July?? How did that happen? Saw most of the kiddos over 4th of July. Had good news from Em, hooray!!! Dave and I just back from seeing Rachel in The Buddy Holly Story in Pa. She was fantastic of course. She really does light up the stage. She sang, she danced, she played the piano and was "sassy" .. what a role.. hardly had to act :) Now off to another beach road trip to Delaware with Kate, Tom and family. Then a couple weeks of regrouping then off to Ol' Cape Cod.

Really look forward to this time to sit back, relax and appreciate all of our blessings and to read.. while at the ocean, with my loved ones. That's just about perfect. And awaiting news from Keel & PJ about the birth of our newest grand kiddo. Life is good! Sending out thanks and appreciating my blessings.

Now off to cook some Armenian food. So what else is new....
